Welcome to LCP Dance Theatre !
LCP is a multimedia and multinational aerial dance company based in London. We raise awareness of human rights issues. We use stage performances: physical and dance theatre, silks, slings and pole; composed music and film. We operate as a network of artists. We collaborate with anti-trafficking associations such as Sophie Hayes Foundation which supports trafficked victims. We use real life stories to create a choreography. We combine movement with acting and other forms of performing arts to add dramaturgy and truth to the stage performance. We produce documentary films based on human rights violations. We were sponsored by the BBC. We have collaborated with an African Dance Company - Tavaziva Dance. We regularly perform at Fringe Festivals. We were nominated few times for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award at Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.
